Overview

Embark on a journey to Baga Gazar's Stone, an enchanting destination located just 37 km northwest of Delgertsogt Sum's center in Dundgovi Province. This area boasts breathtaking views of vast plains, standing tall at an impressive altitude of 1768 meters above sea level. Spanning over 300 square kilometers, this site is a treasure trove of natural wonders, from bubbling springs and trickling streams to sweeping valleys and fascinating ancient graves, mounds, petroglyphs, and monuments.
 
With so many unique sights to behold, you won't want to miss out on exploring Sudut's Mouth, a captivating willow thicket canyon, or venturing into Jargalant Cave, where you can crawl or walk upright for 18 meters. Head over to Eye Spring, located one kilometer west of Sudut's mouth, and gaze down into the purposefully drilled 50cm deep hole to see the water flowing below. Locals worship it as a cure for eye disease, adding to the mystical allure of this location.
 
Don't forget to visit Ger Khad, where you'll find a fascinating picture of a man holding two ibexes on a rope, dating back to the Late Bronze Age. For wildlife enthusiasts, the Sacrifice Gorge is the perfect spot to see argali ibex grazing on high cliffs, while history buffs will marvel at the 64 hunnu-era graves in the mouth of Dundshand.
 
As you explore this vast granite area, you'll come across the ruins of the Lovonchamb Monastery and learn about the legend of the two monks who built their houses in the middle of the poplar grove.
